My brief commentary on the Movie Crazy Rich Asians

This movie is the TRUE definition of a Romantic Comedy. It was funny at times and for the ladies probably a tear jerker. It was worth the watch but then again I wouldn't and didn't have to pay for it. Wait for it to come out on whatever platform you have.

My brief commentary on the Series "Safe" Netflix Original

This mystery/thriller was pretty good, not great but worth the watch. It had a slew of bad acting but the star from Dexter (Michael C. Hall) was good in it. The overall story was exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat enough for me to finish the entire season. I would check out the series Sinner if you are looking for a better mystery/thriller but with all that being said I would say IT WAS STILL WORTH THE WATCH.

Don’t be a Slave to Facebook’s Algorithms.. Facebook has a way around it for you! Take control and see the posts you want to see
Ok, so this may seem simple to some but for so many it is a frustrating thing to have to scroll down your timeline to find posts from certain people or pages. Facebook has algorithms that are pretty damn good to decide who you see posts from mostly. The most obvious factor is the more times you LIKE a certain person’s post or page, the more times you will see that person’s posts. Therein lies the being a slave to Facebook's Algorithms. Works sort of the same for product ads but is more complex than my little brain can even try to explain, so let’s stick with the ways to prioritize certain peoples’ posts. The most obvious thing is to just visit whomever’s timeline you enjoy seeing posts from and there you go. Simple, right? Well not so much because those people start to add up and now you’re wasting a bunch of time going to a bunch of different timelines.
The following are a couple of ways to prioritize the post you see:
The first is definitely the most time consuming so if you have under 30 friends or pages you want to prioritize to see first just skip to the next step. I do this because I have way more than 30 people I would like to mainly see posts from.

Classify your friends as CLOSE FRIENDS

So let’s begin. Go through your friends list and make the friends you want to see posts from CLOSE FRIENDS..who cares if they are close friends or not. The point is this will give you a section to click on to see only these peoples’ posts. It is a little tedious, but well worth it when you have a lot of SO CALLED friends.
You simply go to your profile page by clicking on your name, then click on friends, and then hover over each friend that you would like to make a CLOSE FRIEND. CLICK... CLOSE FRIEND and there you go..You are DONE. Now, I am not 100% it prioritizes their posts on your NEWS FEED but I imagine it does and I know every time these people post, you will get a notification. That is important because if they post a lot this can get annoying. THE POINT IS now you have a section to click on to see only their posts.

To click on this special section reserved for certain people (CLOSE FRIENDS) Follow this path.
On a desktop just click on the link that says EXPLORE then click SEE MORE

Then click on Friends list

Then click CLOSE FRIENDS ......you can also create a separate list here but I find it is just easier to use the existing generic Link CLOSE FRIENDS

On a mobile phone to Classify a Friend as a CLOSE FRIEND do the following:
1. Open Facebook. 2. Tap . 3. Tap Friends. 4. Select a friend. 5. Tap Edit Friend List. 6. Select Close Friends.
To see the close friends link just Tap ☰. It’s near the top-right corner of the screen.
There you will have a link for CLOSE FRIENDS with all of their posts.

Like I said it is a little tedious but I am almost positive this method will get these peoples’ posts first on your news feed and you will have a specified section for these peoples’ posts.

CLASSIFY friends or pages as SEE FIRST

The second way to go about prioritizing the post you want to see is to CLASSIFY certain friends and/or pages as SEE FIRST. This will definitely put these people/pages first on your news feed. You can only classify 30 as SEE FIRST. Why 30? I have no clue. I am sure there is a reason but only the brains at Facebook know this.
So in order to CLASSIFY friends/pages as see first go to the NEWS FEED link on the left
click the three little dots then click edit preferences

Then click prioritize who to see first...Then go nuts picking the 30 you want see first in your News feed.

Take control and customize your News Feed.

On a mobile phone to Classify a Friend/Page as SEE FIRST do the following:
1. Open Facebook. 2. Tap . 3. SCROLL WAY DOWN ..Tap News Feed Preferences. 4. Select Prioritize who to see first (same image as above) 5. Go nuts picking 30 people/pages to see first on your news feed
Well there you go. You can now take control of the posts that you want to see.
Cheers,
Jason
